Welcome to the Clan Ramsay Association of Australia.  The Association was founded in 2006 by members of the family of Dr David Ramsay and Sarah Anne Lord, with considerable interest from other Australian branches of Ramsay families.

 

The visit from Scotland of James H Ramsay, Earl of Dalhousie, in December 2006, prompted the formation of an official clan society. Jamie as he is known, visited St David's Church to encourage the formation of a Clan Ramsay Association in Australia.

 

By forming this Clan Association, we hope to establish a link between the various branches of the Ramsay Family which have established themselves in Australia. By sharing our interest in our common heritage, we can form a bond between families which has existed among clan members for many hundreds of years.
